If you’re prepared for dozen phone calls and 2 months waiting – go ahead and buy it
every time you send them a new document the 10 working days waiting period starts. rhen in the end of it they ask you for more documents, which makes it an endless process. Once they told me that they’ve posted me something – didn’t receive anything. Then they confirmed they’ve got an email attachment with my booking from me and the week later they said that attachment was not there. Then they said they will mark my claim as urgent and process it by the end of next week, and when I called I’ve been told the mark has been never done and I have to wait 2-3 more days.
Useless customer service.
Attitude concern and care has always been barbaric when it comes to there customer services skills especialy with this company insure and go, travel claims services limited. Personally I feel animals have more rights then human beings in the poor manour that they treat you with in terms of self dignity and respect . Majority of the time they feel the need to victimise there customers as criminals when it comes to putting forward a claim I.e probing you to a interview over the telephone and then a piss poor attitude to comply with a face to face interview with an external agency. I take it even though you have a police report and complied with there claims form with receipts on end they yet decide for ever long to review you’re case as if you’re a second class citizen.
DONT USE THEM COWBOYS they put every obstacle they can think of to avoid paying their dues we would never use them again
After choosing insure and go to cover my annual trip to greece where I work every summer, I was happy with the price and surprised that the cover would include my laptop. Unfortunately whilst away my laptop along with money, ipod and memory cards were stolen. I went through all the right channels making sure I had a police report etc and felt pretty confident my belongings would be replaced when I got home. My claim was sent off the beginning of october and took a ridiculous amount of time to go through, everything was wrong and they wanted more and more paper work, finally when everything had been sent I received a laughable cheque of £100 for my troubles. Not enough to cover anything that was stolen really! So I complained and the company refused to pay more out even though I had asked specifically for my laptop to be covered! Their policy is messed up and not clear, even after reading the tediously long booklet I still believe I was entitled to at least £300 for my 3 single valuable items. (They state ‘upto £100 limit for single valuable items’) which they then refused to believe I had read. Its been a nightmare from start too finish. So here I am still with my measly £100 cheque having to save to buy my stolen items that insure and go happily didn’t cover and fobbed me off with some bull**** excuses! I’m now into my 4 month of complaining to no avail!! I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN! NOT ADVISABLE TO ANYONE! STAY AWAY!!!!
