Terrible, I paid for the policy and then the day before the holiday was admitted to hospital for suspected appendicitis. 4 months on I am still waiting for them to refund any money what so ever. They refused to accept the hospital notes and paperwork as proof I was in hospital and insisted my doctor signed a form saying she had no clue where I was but given the hospital reports probably in hospital. Then they lost the paperwork, when sent again I was told it was all being processed (after a month of them having the documents) but instead of issuing a cheque they then sent another email saying they were rejecting every claim as despite the fact I was not there and had all the bookings and costs they wanted an official cancellation invoice. Of the 6 claims I had 3 did not issue cancellation invoices, when they are disputing saying I can have no payout and it’s not thier fault that the US don’t issue the correct papaper work. My travel agent who booked the flights is not adequate proof that I did not travel, they want detailed letters from both Continental airlines and United airlines as to why I was not on the flight (I have had no communication with these at all). The case is still on going, after 4 months I am starting to think about going to the small claims court to get my money back. Avoid them at all costs, it’s very easy to purchase with them however, when you need the support they are not there.
